This 3-days tour will take you to the Yangon`s highlighted landmarks, the awe-inspiring
Golden Rock Pagoda and Bago-the city of ancient Mon dynasty.
DAY 1 Yangon – Kyaiktiyo
You will be welcomed by our Guide at Airport .
Upon arrival, we will drive out of Yangon to visit Kyaiktiyo Pagoda.
On the way, we will stop at Bago,an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom.
Take visits to the Mon-style Shwemawdaw Pagoda – the tallest pagoda in Myanmar which can be seen from around 10 kilometers outside of the city.
After visiting Kyatkhawine Monasteryto observe the monastic life, we will have a Lunch at Local restaurant.
Proceed to Kyaikhtiyo(Golden Rock), a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site in Myanmar. It is a small pagoda (7.3 metres (24 ft)) built on the top of a granite boulder covered with gold leaves pasted on by devotees.
According to legend, the Golden Rock itself is precariously perched on a strand of the Buddha’s hair. The balancing rock seems to defy gravity, as it perpetually appears to be on the verge of rolling down the hill.
Arrive at Kinmon Base Camp and transfer to a local truck to drive up to the terminal near the Golden Rock Pagoda (1–hour drive).
Visit the amazing Kyaiktiyo (Golden Rock) Pagoda and watch the spectacular sunset from the edge.
Stay overnight at hotel in Kyaiktiyo.
DAY 2 Kyaiktiyo – Bago – Yangon
At sunrise we will offer fruits, candle and incense to Buddha.It also a good time to meditation.
After Breakfast we will check out hotel and drive back to Yangon.
At Bago, we visit to the famous Pagoda such as the massive 55-metre longShwethalyaung Reclining Buddha, Myathalyaung Reclining Buddhaand the four seated Buddhas.
Complete the tour of Bago by a visit toKanbawzathadi Palace and drive back to Yangon.
In the evening visit tothe World famous golden stupa, Shwedagon Pagoda – the golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is cover with 60 tons of pure gold.
Stayovernight in Yangon.
DAY 3 Departure
This morning we will Visit Botahtaung Pagoda which is hollow within, and houses what is believed to be a sacred hair of Gautama Buddha and just on the left side of the pagodas compound a monument to Bo Bo Gyi, believed to be the spiritual being that is believed to be guarding the Botahtaung Pagoda.
Visit the massive reclining Buddha at Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda.
Lunch at Karaweik Palace.
Last minute shopping at Bogyoke (Scotts) Market.
Transfer to Yangon Airport for your onward flight. If time permit, on the way we will stop at the house ofWhite Elephant.
